Northern Repair Ltd. is currently seeking a Heavy Duty Technician to join our dynamic team. If you’re experienced with heavy equipment, take pride in quality workmanship, and thrive in a safety-first environment — we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, service, and repair heavy-duty trucks and equipment (on-site and in the field)
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Document all repairs, inspections, and maintenance tasks accurately
• Ensure work is completed in compliance with safety and environmental standards

Qualifications:

• Journeyman Heavy Duty Technician (or 3rd/4th Year Apprentice)
• Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy trucks, trailers, and equipment
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license (Class 1 or 3 is an asset)
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Safety certifications (First Aid, WHMIS, CSTS, etc.) are considered an asset

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding and fabrication on heavy equipment and components
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe, working condition
• Work independently or with a team in shop and field settings
• Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times

Qualifications:

• Journeyman Welder or 2nd–4th Year Apprentice preferred
• Experience with MIG, TIG, and stick welding
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Safety certifications (First Aid, WHMIS, CSTS) are an asset
